FAQ: PARKING AT THE WEST HARTFORD LIBRARY (Town Center)

CAN I PARK FREE AT THE LIBRARY IN THE TOWN CENTER?
The Town of West Hartford will VALIDATE PARKING for TWO HOURS for users
of the NOAH WEBSTER LIBRARY in the town center (20 S. Main Street).
That's two hours of free parking.

WHERE SHOULD I PARK?
PARK in the ISHAM GARAGE and bring your parking ticket with you into the
library. Parking tickets can be validated (free parking) for two hours
at the library circulation desks.  Give your ticket to a librarian at the desk for validation.

WHERE IS THE ISHAM GARAGE? 
The Isham Garage is near the entrance to WHOLE FOODS MARKET on Isham
Road (just off Raymond Road).  Enter the garage and take a ticket. The
garage has elevators and escalators to take you from level to level.
There is handicapped parking on each level near the elevators. Level 2
offers street level access to Isham Road where the library's back
entrance is located.

WHERE IS THE LIBRARY FROM THE GARAGE?
The Noah Webster Library is at street level FEWER THAN 100 STEPS from
the parking garage just along Isham Road--look for the BARNES & NOBLE
sign. The entrance to the library is near both Barnes & Noble and
Criterion Cinemas, and across from The Cheesecake Factory.

There is an elevator at ground level in the library.

Note: There is also metered street parking in front of the library at 20
S. Main Street, as well as four handicapped parking spaces. For more
