Notary service is sometimes available during weekday hours at all libraries, and on some evenings and weekends. Please be sure to call to make sure a notary is available.

When you reach the library, there may be a short wait until a notary is available. If you need mulitiple notarizations, the notary may not be able to assist you.

Notary service may also be available at West Hartford Town Hall.

• Bring a photo ID, such as a valid driver's license, and another current form of identification with your signature. A social security card may not be used as an ID.
  
• Do not sign the document until you are in the presence of the notary.
  
• If your document requires additional witnesses, please bring them with you.
  
• There is no charge for notary service.
