Welcome to Faxon
The branch library in the Elmwood section of West Hartford was established in 1901 at the request of the Elmwood Literary Club. The branch received extensive renovations to the interior in 1992 and through a tremendous community effort was also made handicap accessible in 1997. The branch offers a full schedule of programming for children and adults, including storytimes, book discussions, computer instruction, ESOL tutoring and an annual technology night.
