Moonlight Mirrors
Ancient moons’s glow of gossamer hue
inspires reflections within my view
musing upon halcyon days
circle of gold tours its phase.
Phantom memories’ ride constant tides
ebbing and flowing in echoing cries
unfadable visions in moonlight mirrors
luna waxes and wanes my reflective tears. |

Haiku Series
Mountain top ice crusts
leaves on tree wither and die
springtime at the base.
Windswept mountain snow
crawls down multi-angled chin
like Dali’s goatee.
Soprano zephyr
serenades small crevices
alpine symphony.
Waterfall descends
collides with infinity
re-cycles above.
Patterns in the sky
floating phantoms etched in time
paint brush traces.
Layers of waters
shadows reflected in lake
surreal images.
Streaks of lightning glow
scripted on a blackboard sky
piercing the silence.
Wind slides across land
collecting yesterday’s life
pursues tomorrow.
