Donate to the Library Foundation

The West Hartford Public Library Foundation is a 501 (c)(3) tax exempt, not-for-profit corporation organized and operated exclusively for the benefit of the West Hartford Public Library system.

The Foundation's mission is to offer financial support to enhance the Library’s resources and services and to facilitate access to them for the benefit of all members of the community. To carry out its mission, the Foundation solicits, accepts, holds, invests and administers gifts, bequests and property donations for the benefit of the Library. The Foundation is not designed to replace tax dollars nor affect the Town’s budgeting and tax funding process in any way. All contributions to the Foundation are tax deductible to the extent allowed by the law.
