topaz magnification system photo TOPAZ CCTV: a desktop closed circuit TV system which magnifies any print materials. Users may select the level of magnification and the contrast scheme best suited to individual needs.
Aoomtext keyboard photo ZoomText Software & Large Print Keyboard: software program that offers computer users a variety of text display options, magnification levels and an audio “reader” used with headphones.
hand held magnifiers pic Hand-held lighted stand magnifiers are used with interchangeable lenses: 3X, 4X and 5x.
RUBY magnifier pic RUBY Hand-held CCTV:  portable closed
circuit TV system that may be carried throughout the library and used
to magnify print material. It offers an image capture feature so that
users may hold it against the item to be read, capture the image, and
then move the screen to an appropriate viewing distance.
adaptive workstation photo JAWS: screen reader software for computer users. This software is available on the accessible workstation at the Noah Webster Library.
Sara reader photo SARA: a scanning and reading device that allows users to listen to the content of any standard printed material using headphone.
The Library has headphones to loan or you can provide your own.
reading glasses photo Reading Glasses: magnifiers 1.50, 1.75, 2.00, 2.50
adaptive workstation photo Accessible workstation: features an adjustable-height table and a computer with a 22 inch monitor equipped with screen reading and screen magnification software. A joystick and a trackball mouse are also available for use at this workstation. It is located in the Reference Room at the Noah Webster Library
wheelchair photo A light-weight wheelchair is available for use inside the building at the Circulation Desk at the Noah Webster Library.
