Ideas for Library Programs

Library Programs -- Please Send Your Program Ideas

The library tries to offer a variety of quality programs for the enrichment of the West Hartford community. Programs are generally developed three months or more in advance to ensure proper publicity. Please note that the library receives many more program ideas than can possibly be used. Program ideas must be submitted in writing so they can be reviewed by the program committee, which meets several times a year. Please do not telephone before submitting your idea in writing.

       1) Mail your program idea to the library at: West Hartford Public Library, ATTN: Programming Committee, 20 South Main Street, West Hartford, CT 06107.  Book authors must also send a non-returnable, complimentary copy of their book to the above address before being considered for a reading/signing at the library.

       2) Type your program idea in the online form below, then click "send." Provide as much detail as possible, including why you believe the suggested program will be very successful. The library's Program Committee will review your suggestion and you should hear back within one month. Thank you for your interest in the library.
