ESOL

Talk It Up! Talk It Up! is an English conversation class for motivated intermediate to advanced speakers.  Each class includes pre-class preparation (reading and listening) which is distributed by email.  Class time emphasizes conversation on various topics.

There are two classes with a maximum of 12 students in each.  Classes meet September through May on Wednesday mornings 10-11:30 and Wednesday evenings 7-8:30.  All classes are at the Noah Webster (Main) Library, 20 South Main St. Registration is required. We do maintain waiting lists as necessary.  Call 561-6990 for Talk It Up! information

Practice English is an informal drop-in program for those who want to improve their English skills. This group meets from 10-11 am on Saturdays at the Faxon Library, 1073 New Britain Ave. No registration is necessary.

FRENCH

Les Francos à la Biblio is a French discussion group for francophiles of all levels.
De quoi parlerons-nous?  De films, de livres, de ce qui nous plaira! We watch French movies with English subtitles, and read one novel a year. Discussions follow in French.
There are six to eight yearly meetings from September through June at the Noah Webster Library. Please call 860-561-6990 for more information or to join our email notification list.
