Join us for our 5th year celebrating National Novel Writing Month in November!

1. Set a word count goal for the month by filling out this form. NaNoWriMo participants normally strive to write 50,000 words (1,667 a day) in November, but your personal goal can be any amount. Tag us on social media too letting us know you’re participating! #WeHaNaNoWriMo

2. Write! Write on your own or join one of the library’s writing groups. Click here for more information: Or check out our region’s NaNoWriMo’s CT North page for write-ins and other events to keep you on track. Hang out virtually and stay motivated.

3. Share your progress! Each week, let us know how many words you’ve written by filling out this form. Your results will be posted to the WHPL NaNoWriMo leaderboard. Anyone who reaches at least 50% of their goal will be entered into a raffle for a NaNoWriMo sweatshirt!
