What Kind of Questions do you answer?
We can only answer brief factual questions. We may also direct you to sources, such as Web pages or print material, where you will find information on your topic. If your question is in-depth or complicated, you can call / visit us during library hours.
Can I renew items or place holds via email?
Please use our online catalog to reserve or renew materials.
Who will answer my questions?
The librarians of the West Hartford Main Library Reference Division will receive and answer your questions.
How quickly can I expect a response?
Upon receipt of your question, you will receive e-mail verifying that your question has been submitted. The minimum turnaround time is 24 hours (Monday to Friday). If you need an answer by a certain date, please be sure to specify this on the question form. If you need a reply very quickly, it is recommended that you call or visit the library.
