Computer Instruction

Due to COVID-19, Tech Therapy and Computer Coaching are currently on hiatus. Please check back later – we will update this page when instruction resumes.

In the meantime, visit our Online Classes page for information on Universal Class and Google Applied Digital Skills – two resources that provide basic computer instruction. We’re also offering a series of technology courses beginning January 2021. Click here for more information and to register.

Universal Class

At Universal Class, use your West Hartford Public Library card to enroll in classes such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher and Adobe Photoshop. Universal Class features feedback and interaction via email and/or chat with qualified instructors. You will need a working email address to enroll in these classes. Call 860-561-6990 if you need assistance.

Google Applied Digital Skills

Google Applied Digital Skills is a free resource to learn practical digital skills using a project-based video curriculum. Learn how to use Google Docs, Sheets, Slides, Drawings, Photos, and more. If you have questions about this resource, you may email Andrew Piro, West Hartford Public Library Reference Librarian, at apiro@westhartfordct.gov.
