Pip Yoga visits Faxon, on Saturday, May 18 at 10:30 am. Pip Yoga for kids is a story-based yoga class focusing on mindfulness, creative movement and fun! Your little one will go on a narrative journey, stretching their bodies as well as their imagination. All bodies and abilities are invited to come move and play with us in a non-competitive, non-judgmental environment. Yoga mats will be provided. Please wear comfy clothes to move in and bare feet. Please bring a water bottle.
Mary Cassatt Tea - Mother's Day Card for grades 4-7 on Wednesday, April 24 from 6:00pm - 7:00pm.
Tea cups and tea pots have been the focus of many pieces of art. The impressionist Mary Cassatt used them in many of her most beautiful paintings. Come join us and make a Mother's Day card inspired by art for your mother or a special person in your life! We will use book text, and mixed media, rubber stamps and stencils. (We will have a few classic texts printed out but please feel free to bring a copy of your favorite book if you'd like!)
