Are you part of a book group? Borrow a Book Group Kit! Each kit contains multiple copies of a single title.
How It Works
- One member of the group borrows the kit for the group with his or her library card. Kits are only available at Noah Webster Library.
- The loan period is 4 weeks and may be renewed once.
- The original borrower is responsible for distributing the books to group members and for returning all books by the due date. The bag and its entire contents must be returned at the same time.
- Kits may be returned at the service desk of any West Hartford Library. Do not return kits in a book drop or at another library.
- The original borrower is responsible for any fines or replacement fees for damaged copies.
- Overdue fines are charged on the bag and on each item in the kit. The replacement cost for a Book Group Kit is $100.00.
- Kits may be reserved up to 1 week in advance by calling the Noah Webster Information Desk at 860-561-6990.
