- Summer Reading Kickoff with The Poop Museum – Wednesday, June 18, 3:00pm @ West Hartford Conference Center: Join Susie Maguire from The Poop Museum© to learn about the serious science of poop and pooping. This program is the perfect combination of fun and fabulous, fascinating facts! REGISTER
- Mid-Summer Pop-in: Stop by any West Hartford Library July 21-25 to receive a summer reading prize. Don’t forget to bring your log!
- Tie-Dye and Yard Games: Summer Reading Check-In – Wednesday, July 23 @ Faxon Library: Bring a white t-shirt or other item to tie-dye. Don’t forget to bring your reading log for your mid-summer check-in and to get a prize. A cool treat will be served! This program is for the child and their caregiver. REGISTER
- Summer Reading Finale: Adventure of the Missing Color with Science Heroes – Monday, August 25, 2:00 PM @ West Hartford Conference Center: Through hands-on experiments and fun, interactive stories, children will get excited about the science that’s all around us as we celebrate the scientists who color our world with art. REGISTER
- Bring your completed reading log any of our three libraries to receive a free paperback book August 18 – 26!
