Coming Soon: A New Library Catalog

Stay up to date on the changes coming to WHPL!

We’re excited to share that we’re migrating to a new catalog in June. This change will come with lots of upgrades to how you search for materials and manage your library account. To help keep you informed, we will regularly update this page with information and resources as they become available. Please note that the dates below are subject to change. As always, if you have a question or need assistance, don’t hesitate to contact us.

  • If your card is set to expire in April, May, or June, the new expiration date has been set to July 1. To renew, simply reach out to us after that date.

LCIMobile, the existing library app, will no longer be accessible starting April 7.

  • A new library app will be available in June.
  • If you use the barcode in the app as your library card, we suggest taking a screenshot of it so that you can continue to use it during the transition.
  • To manage your account, log in here, or contact us for assistance

  • Between May 26 and June 3, you will not be able to access or manage your account.
  • If your account is not in good standing or expired, you may not be able to access digital resources during this time.
  • Starting June 3, you will be able to use our new catalog to manage your account. Learning materials and information about the new catalog will be posted on this page as they become available.

  • Between May 12 and May 25, you will only be able to place a hold for pickup at a library that owns the material. You can still borrow materials from libraries in other towns by visiting them in person. You will also be able to request materials from any WHPL location for pickup at any other WHPL location.
  • Between May 26 and June 3, you will not be able to place holds. During this time, you will be able to browse the catalog online, but the information may not be current. Please contact the library to confirm we have the item you are looking for before visiting. Library staff will be limited in our ability to provide up-to-date information on materials, but we’re happy to provide assistance!

  • Library materials will not be due between May 18 and June 8. Please check your account or contact the library to determine when your library materials are due.

  • If you have funds for printing on your library card, the balance will remain on your account. You can continue logging on to library computers using your library card number.

  • During the transition to the new catalog, we are unable to process purchase suggestions. Starting July 1, our Purchase Suggestion Form will reopen for requests.
