How to Participate
- Pick up a reading log at any WHPL location or download a copy below.
- Read! Any books count, including e-books, audiobooks, and books read to you.
- Log your books on your paper reading log or our online form.
- Bring your completed reading log to any WHPL location to receive a free paperback book August 19-25 or bring it with you when you return to school.

Help us kick off Summer Reading 2026! Stop by any WHPL location to learn about summer reading, sign up the whole family, and enjoy fun activities.
Join us at Noah Webster between 4:00-6:00 pm to experience the magic of Circus Moves! Learn how to juggle, spin a plate, and more!
Summer Reading Check-In
July 13-18 | All Locations
Stop by any WHPL location during this week to receive a summer reading prize. Please bring your reading log with you!
Tie-Dye and Yard Games: Summer Reading Check-In
Wednesday, July 15 | 4:00pm | Faxon Library
Grades K-5: Bring a white t-shirt or other item to tie-dye. Don’t forget to bring your reading log for your mid-summer check-in and to get a prize. A cool treat will be served.
